The Turf Sense product line features solutions for home lawns, landscape turf areas, and sports turf and provides a wide range of desirable turf grass traits including deep roots and drought tolerance, fast germination with quick establishment, durability and ability to recover and performance in full sun to moderate shade.
This 99.9% weed-free seed mixture is formulated with wear tolerant varieties to create a tough turf that can handle high traffic. Turf Sense requires less watering and less mowing.
Tolerating extremely heavy traffic with outstanding recuperative abilities, RPR provides excellent turf quality and appearance. Far outperforming traditional perennial ryegrass, RPR provides traffic tolerance with early establishment. Resilient and tolerant of tough summer conditions, when perennial ryegrass is the turf of choice, RPR is the ideal selection for your sport and recreational turf facility, golf course and active home lawn.
NEW LAWNS: Remove debris and large rocks, then till to a depth of approximately 4”. Apply seed-starter fertilizer at recommended rates. ESTABLISHED LAWNS: Mow existing turf to 1”. rake thoroughly to remove any debris or dead grass and expose the soil.
Broadcast seed as evenly as possible for uniform coverage. Do not over-apply. For new lawns, gently rake seed into soil. Roll surface with a medium weight roller to firm soil around seed.
Keep seeded area moist with frequent light watering until germination is complete. Do not allow seed to dry out. Mow area when new growth is approximately 3” tall and soil is firm. Mow at 2” to 3” until established—approximately 8 to 10 weeks.
