Where should I place the monitor for best results?
Only indoors (never outdoors), when placing it avoid areas of high ventilation as it could skew the results. We recommend placing it in areas where people gather like the kitchen or living room. Can be placed on a surface or wall-mounted.
Will I have accurate measurements from day 1?
Humidity and temperature, are ready from day 1. For radon, your device displays its first 24-hour average after a full day of data. However long-term average is important, so wait until after the first month before you act.
Does this device come with Bluetooth connectivity?
Yes, you can synchronize the monitor's data with the Airthings app when within Bluetooth range. Enable remote access to your Wave monitor by linking it to a WiFi connected View series monitor acting as a hub.
Why wait at least 30 days before acting on your measured radon level?
Radon levels fluctuate due to weather changes, so a longer test provides a more accurate average, as short-term tests may miss this. Levels can take days to a month to stabilise within ±10% accuracy. Waiting at least 30 days ensures reliable results.
