Good, healthy air quality is essential to getting restful sleep at night and being on top of your game during the day. Stay in control of your home’s air quality with Airthings Wave Plus, an app-enabled indoor air monitor that measures 6 aspects of air quality including radon, carbon dioxide (CO2), and more. It syncs live readings with the Airthings app on your mobile device via Bluetooth. It's battery-powered so there are no messy cables.
Where should I place the monitor for best results?
Only indoors (never outdoors), when placing it avoid areas of high ventilation as it could skew the results. We recommend placing it in areas where people gather like the kitchen or living room. Can be placed on a surface or wall-mounted.
Will I have accurate measurements from day 1?
Humidity, temperature and air pressure are ready from day 1. CO2 and VOC sensors adjust to the environment during the first week. For radon, your device shows the first 24-hour average after a day of data, but wait until after the first month to act.
Why wait at least 30 days before acting on your measured radon level?
Radon levels fluctuate due to weather changes, so a longer test provides a more accurate average, as short-term tests may miss this. Levels can take days to a month to stabilize within ±10% accuracy. Waiting at least 30 days ensures reliable results.
Does this device come with Bluetooth connectivity?
Yes, you can synchronize the monitor's data with the Airthings app when within Bluetooth range. Enable remote access to your Wave monitor by linking it to a WiFi connected View series monitor acting as a hub.
