Will the Spider Rear Rack fit a full-suspension bikes / eBike? What about gravel bikes? What about Carbon?
Yes. The Spider Rear Rack can fit all bikes / eBikes including full sus bikes. Although designed specifically for MTB/EMTBs we get many use on gravel bikes also. We have many use on Carbon Bikes, we just recomend a layer of tape down at touch points.
Can I add further capacity to the Spider Rear Rack?
Yes. It comes with the one cradle. However, you can add another one or two cradles to the side of the rack. You can also swap out the cradle for our pannier receiever if you like to take panniers, or add our QuickLock Adventure pods, Urban Backpack.
Can I use my dropper post?
Yes. The cradle on top can be rotated 90 degrees or moved back to suit clearances/room for dropper post. The cradle/s can also go on the side of the rack rather than on top. With no attachement to the seat post, you can use your bike as normal!
What can I carry with the Spider Rear Rack?
The Spider Rear Rack is designed to carry any drybag, tent, sleeping pad etc. Aeroe also offers our own dryabgs that are compatible with the Spider Rear Rack. You can also add/swap in/out other rack acc's to carry other things like panniers.
How easy is it to install? Can it fit any angle rear stays?
Very easy. It only requires a 5mm Allen / Hex key to tighten. Yes the rack can be adjusted to fit any angle rear stays before fitting and then tightened to fit. Patented Quick Release means quick to take on and off, and no fiddly axle mountings.
Once you have your rear or front base rack in place. You can simply add/swap in and out any of our Adventure, Touring and Commuting range of rack accessories and bags depending on what your use type of riding is and how much gear you need to carry. One Rack for Any Ride.
