What information does the tellmeGen Advanced DNA test include?
You will gain access to approximately 320 genetic reports covering health, inherited conditions, personal traits, wellness, and ancestry data, as well as participate in DNA Connect.
Are the results of the tellmeGen genetic test confidential? Will they be shared with third parties?
The results are 100% confidential. Once you register, your data becomes an encrypted code. Neither the laboratory nor during the analysis has access to the personal data, which will not be shared unless expressly consented.
How reliable are the results of the genetic test?
We use the latest iScan technology from Illumina and the GSA genotyping chip, which contains 750,000 genetic markers. The process is repeated many times as an internal quality control to ensure the most accurate results.

Hereditary conditions reports can determine if a person is a carrier of a genetic variant, but not if they have two copies of any genetic variant. These reports are not intended to inform about future disease risk, the health of the fetus, or the risk of diseases in the newborn child. tellmeGen pharmacogenetic reports: The tellmeGen advanced genetic analysis utilizes qualitative genotyping to detect variants in various genes in the genomic DNA of adults from saliva to inform on the processing of certain medications and facilitate discussions with a healthcare professional. It does not describe whether a person will or will not respond to a specific medication. Our pharmacogenetic report provides information on variants associated with the metabolism of some medications and the potential effect of therapies. The results should be confirmed by an independent genetic test prescribed by your healthcare provider before taking any medical action.
