This AcuRite weather station uses patented technology to self-calibrate to your precise location and provide a hyperlocal, personal weather forecast 12 hours from your current conditions. Plan your day using weather data right from your backyard.
AcuRite Wireless Weather Station with Self-Learning Forecast Features:
AcuRite’s patented Self-Calibrating Forecasting provides your personal forecast of weather conditions for the next 12 to 24 hours by collecting data from the sensor in your backyard. It generates a forecast with pinpoint accuracy — personalized for your exact location.
Self-Calibrating Forecasting uses a unique algorithm to analyze changes in pressure over a time period (called Learning Mode) to determine your altitude. After 14 days, the Learning Mode icon disappears from the display screen. At this point, the self-calibrated pressure is tuned in to your location and the unit is ready for superior weather prediction.
The atomic clock and calendar will maintain the correct time and date, and automatically update for daylight saving time to provide the most accurate timekeeping standard possible.
Today’s high and low records are displayed for indoor and outdoor temperature. Today’s records automatically clear at midnight every day.
