Do the cups collect standing water, or is there a hole at the bottom of each one?
All of our cups have a 2 cm (0.79") diameter hole at the bottom.
So, our cups don't collect water and you can avoid water mosquitoes.
Can it just be attached to a hook on the roof where water always flows?
This product can replace your downspout.
You can attach this product to your hook or to the supplied adapter.
And, we recommend fixing the lower part of the rain chain with a Basin or Stake so that it does not shake in the wind and rain.
Can the chain be attached to the roof if there are no gutters or downspouts?
You could attach it to an eave of your roof with a hook, but without a gutter to direct the rainwater to the rain chain, it would not have enough rainwater flowing through it.
Can you attach another rain chain to make it longer?
You can attach another rain chain by twisting it slightly using tools such as locking pliers, lineman's pliers, slip joint pliers, etc.
Will the rain gutter adapter fit into a modern rectangular downspout?
